Rajani and Co have recently secured the services of a former SCI
investigator (Special Civil Investigations or Special Compliance
Office as it used to be known). Trevor James not long ago joined
the accounting profession after 26 years service with the Inland
Revenue and HMRC, 13 of those years in compliance and the final
6 at SCI.
Working together, we assist and advise clients in relation to tax
investigations, particularly those being conducted by the SCI under
Codes of Practice 8 and 9, or by the Offshore Fraud Project Group
or any one of the newly formed Civil Investigation of Fraud teams
under Codes of Practice 9.
